In the year 1946 a hypocritical, drug using, teenage girl abusing, hell-fire and brimstone preaching pastor burned down a
circus in the name of God, when it set up in the sleepy little town of Ashbrooke.
Unknown to the pastor, the ringmaster and snake-oil salesman of that circus, Hal Zimner, was in possession of a toxic potion
that promotes healing and longevity if used correctly, but reanimates the dead when misused.
When our story jumps to 2006 a new circus comes to Ashbrooke and puts down steaks on the same site where the mass murder happened
60 years before.
After rummaging around in the remains of the old Ringmaster Hal Zimner's burned out, over grown circus wagon, circus boss
Carson Bailey, who has a limp and a gimpy arm, finds the sinister potion and discovers it's healing, rejuvenating powers,
after accidentally taking a taste of it and seeing his body healed before his eyes.
Deciding to ditch the circus and sell the potion for millions, he gets in a heated argument with his young Chinese acrobat
girlfriend, because she refuses to leave her blind fortuneteller father behind and flee the circus with Carson.
During the heated argument Carson hits the girl with his newly re-animated and very powerful arm, ripping her jaw from her
face and killing her straight away.
As a last ditch effort to heal her, he pours the newly discovered miracle potion down her throat in hopes of it healing her,
but instead the sinister potion reanimates her dead corpse. She brutally kills Carson and goes on a zombie rampage, destroying
the circus and infecting everyone within, but to make it worse, while she was mangling and devouring Carson's body, the dozens
of bottles of the toxic Apa Vie potion were broken causing the elixir to seep through the rotten floorboards of the wagon,
into the ground where the mass grave of charred rotting circus folk from the past had been hidden.
Being rejuvenated by the potion and raising from the grave along with his army of mangled decaying circus freaks, Ringmaster
Hal and his family of zombies turn the circus into a big top of the living dead.
Later while making a delivery to the circus, our stories heroes, young closeted mechanic, Brian Keeping, flamboyant hair dresser
Randy Corbin and sweet as home-made cornbread fag-hag, Steffi Damascus find themselves in the middle of the carnage.
Fighting for their lives, they find they have to survive the night in this circus full of reanimated zombie performers and
their crazed zombie circus animals while dealing with their own issues in the still homophobic town.
This is part horror, part love story and part suspense filled adventure through the zombie filled circus, town and the old
abandoned church where the hypocritical pastor, who was infected by the tonic the night of the horrible crime, still lives
even though he is One Hundred and Ten.
